You can give candy as a stylish gift in an empty jam jar. Look through your yarn basket for scraps in Christmas colors, crochet the lid, and decorate it with a hand-crocheted Santa figure. You can also add an extra little surprise to the bag—a greeting card with a few kind words or maybe even a small bill. Once the candy is gone, you can fill the jar with an LED string of lights to create a festive Christmas decoration.

The little ghost was crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg shell. The best part: it glows in the dark! The glow-in-the-dark yarn is white in daylight. If you “charge” it for a while by shining a lamp on it, it begins to glow greenish in the dark. You can hide a piece of candy or another little surprise inside the ghost. It’s a little gift that all kids will love.

And here’s another figure from my Kinder Surprise collection: a drake that can lay chocolate eggs 😆. For the duckling, all you need are a few scraps of yarn in green, brown, beige, orange, white, and blue—and, of course, a surprise egg! And what will you put inside your duck’s belly?

My granddaughter loves her slipover made from sock yarn. It’s one of her favorite pieces of clothing. She got it when she was 6 years old, and now, at almost 8, it still fits her well.

The slipover is easy to knit.

I knitted these leggings with straps for my granddaughter when she was 1.5 years old. The pants grow with the child for a while and keep them wonderfully warm. They’re also comfortable and allow full freedom of movement.

The leggings have removable straps, so they can be worn for a very long time.

From my “Noriaki” series, I’d like to introduce my wrist warmers “Noriaki IV” today.
They’re crocheted in the Japanese style. It looks harder than it is.
The pattern includes two versions: one with a thumb and one without.
In the picture, you can see both versions, as well as the crocheted piece made once with gradient yarn and once with solid-colored yarn. The pattern stands out better with solid-colored yarn.
