For doll clothes, I often use different materials, especially for hem finishes. This gives the little dresses a special touch, and at the same time I can use up even the tiniest amounts of novelty yarn.



The off-the-shoulder cocktail dress for small dolls is crocheted from black-and-silver glitter yarn. For the hem and the edge of the hat, I used black eyelash yarn.The silver clutch, also made from glitter yarn, goes perfectly with it.



The “Peacock Princess” evening dress is also off-the-shoulder, making it very easy to put on and take off. It closes at the back with a snap fastener. Eyelash yarn was again used at the neckline and hem, with peacock eyes also worked into the lower hem. There is a matching small fan and a headband with a peacock eye.



And for this princess dress, fabric was combined with crochet. The underdress is simply a rectangle that is sewn on from the inside at the waist. It is made of a sparkly fabric—sequin fabric, Lurex, or foil jersey—that doesn’t even need to be hemmed. I crocheted the overdress from glitter yarn. The hem finishes are made from iridescent sponge yarn.

I really like colorful patterns. Crocheting with them is never boring, and they create wonderful effects. When you then showcase the bright colors with different patterns, uniquely beautiful pieces are created.

Large Colorful Basket with Bobbles

It is 27 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm high—so quite a lot fits inside. The base is doubly sturdy thanks to a hidden piece of cardboard inside. Very nice for leftovers. You can also crochet it in other sizes. The small colorful bobbles all around and the wide folded-over edge make it especially beautiful.





Knitting Nancy Rug

This, too, guarantees a boring craft project. First, we crank out lots and lots of knitting-nancy cords from colorful leftover yarn with our crank knitting nancy. Then we thread them into a grid structure. After that, an edging is added. And there you have it: a colorful, uniquely beautiful rug for the children’s room, one of a kind.
