Thank you! I wish you and everyone else here a wonderful weekend, too!
It’s lovely here—sunny and still quite mild—and a few of us have plans to meet up at the beer garden tomorrow evening.
And actually, all the tomatoes on the balcony will probably turn a beautiful red before the weather turns bad—it’s been a truly golden October so far.
And to finally get my time management in order, I’ve started crocheting Easter decorations. 🤣
Thanks, Josefa—have a wonderful weekend, too, and to everyone else as well.
It was bitterly cold here this morning (6°+/7°+) and we had fog until around 11 a.m., then it started to clear and slowly lifted; now the sun is shining from a blue sky.
Here at the foot of the Swabian Alb, it’s very sunny and beautiful. Yesterday we celebrated our daughter’s birthday on the patio. It went great with a thick sweater.
We’ll be heading outside again today to enjoy the warmth of the sun.
Here in northeast Berlin, it’s been feeling like fall for a few days now. Today it’s been raining and drizzling all day. There are even puddles on the streets, which is very rare in Brandenburg. The weather isn’t exactly inviting you to go outside. So it’s time to get cozy indoors. We’ve even had the fireplace going again since yesterday. Perfect weather for crafts!
Near the North Sea coast, the rain is setting in. We had showers yesterday, and today it’s raining almost nonstop.
I think I’ll fire up my tea light heater (I don’t want to turn on the heating just yet). Later, I’ll have some coffee with gingerbread. Listening to music, watching TV, and lots of knitting.
It’s not supposed to get any better tomorrow either, so it’s knitting weather.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, too. It’s not sunny here today, but it’s a bit windy.
That’s fine by me, though—at least I won’t break a sweat while gardening.
Veronika, what are you up to for Easter? It must be something big if you’re already getting started.
After it rained cats and dogs here all day yesterday, this morning was wonderfully sunny. It’s chilly, yes, but the air is lovely. We took advantage of it to go on two long walks. Now clouds are rolling in. Let’s see if it turns out to be sewing or knitting weather.
Best regards, Marita
🤣🤣 No, nothing big—just a few chickens and stuff—but I always seem to forget about Easter, and then—poof!—it’s suddenly here! Last year, I finished my Halloween decorations right on time, had plenty of time left for Christmas decorations, then did this and that because everything goes by so fast, and before I knew it, it was Easter. That’s not going to happen to me again.
