Knitting a Loop / Möbius Scarf

if you want to knit a loop scarf / Möbius scarf, what challenges / difficulties have you noticed, especially for beginners?

When crocheting, it’s important not to twist the foundation chain (for a loop; for a Möbius scarf, twisting once is intended). After about 10–15 chain stitches, I put the first stitch onto the crochet hook, and then nothing can happen.
Close it at the end with a slip stitch, and you’re done.
I’m actually crocheting a Möbius scarf again right now ;)

Knitting a loop can be very easy, depending on the pattern you choose.
If you’re not knitting in the round, you simply join the piece at the end to form a loop.

With a Möbius scarf, it’s also possible to join the piece at the end and incorporate the twist. If you want to knit in the round, I find this part a bit tricky at first—getting the twist just right as you knit.
