Aren’t these two cuddly mice sweet? This mouse (in pastels or in bold colors, depending on what your yarn stash has to offer) is crocheted with three different types of yarn: the head, paws, and tail with soft chenille yarn, and the body with cotton and plush yarn. This creates a very special texture that stimulates the baby’s sense of touch. So the baby can grip its little mouse well, the body is not stuffed. And of course, the eyes are embroidered so nothing can be swallowed!

Would you like to crochet a little something for Christmas already? I have 2 suggestions for you:



The little angel is quick to crochet from a few scraps of leftover yarn. It’s perfect as Christmas tree decoration or as a sweet gift tag on your Christmas package and can be made from leftover yarn you already have. If you use different colors for the hair, you can create a whole host of angels:

And here are 3 more ornaments that are also suitable as Christmas tree decorations or as embellishments for a package. They are crocheted around a metal ring, which gives them a certain weight. This is quite practical on the Christmas tree when the branches need to be held a little apart. You can also use these ornaments as picture frames:

Fall is approaching, and with it the cooler temperatures. For the transitional season, I think a headband is great—it’s not too warm, but your sensitive ears are still well protected. Here I’m showing you two different styles—the size can be adjusted for both. 

The headbands are knitted in double-face, so they turn out nice and dense and look good from both sides. Detailed instructions for this great knitting technique are included.

This loop is knitted using a very simple lace pattern and can be adjusted to any size. You can also choose any yarn you like. I used thin leftover sock yarn here.

It’s well-suited for beginners who want to try their hand at lace patterns.

To the knitting pattern

In the same way that dishcloths are knitted, you can also knit paw cloths for your pets.
Especially in fall, when paths and places get damp, a lot of dirt gets tracked into the house.
With the paw cloths, you can clean your pet’s paws before they’re allowed back inside.
If you wrap a few treats in them for a walk, the cloths will smell like them afterward and your pets will be absolutely crazy about them. The scent is simply irresistible.

Paw cloths / dishcloths are easy to make, because only knit and purl stitches are used. I’ve charted the stitch sequence for you in a counted chart and written it out stitch by stitch and row by row in a detailed pattern.
