School cone

So, next Tuesday, Child No. 4 is starting school.
Since the two girls are currently at the pony farm—yes, sometimes life really is a pony farm 😂—I was able to use the time today to finish making the school cone!
As is tradition (just like her three older siblings before her, and her little brother in four years), she won’t get to see it until the morning of her first day of school.
But you guys get to see it already 😊

I actually think it’s a shame that the school cone isn’t a tradition where we live. Back then, I crocheted a mini version for my oldest grandchild, but unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of my creations at the time. Maybe I’ll have another chance with my youngest (who’s not quite two yet)!
