Happy weekend: Are you in a vacation mood?

Dear users, dear authors,
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. How is your vacation going?

…and how…even in my own backyard…sunny greetings …with a hint of thunderstorm in the air…

Not really—we’ll probably have to skip our vacation this year. My husband still isn’t feeling well and can’t walk more than 200 meters, so we’re staying home. But we’ll probably have our youngest granddaughter visiting us for a week—that’s nice, too.

Thank you, and have a great weekend, everyone!
No, we don’t really take vacations here anymore, but that’s okay—we’ve had our fill of them over the years, so now things are just different.
It’s cooled off quite a bit here—nothing like the height of summer—so it’s easy to sleep well, sit on the balcony, and just enjoy the moment.
And I’m also tinkering with a new project; I still have a lot to figure out.

The vacation mood is a thing of the past—it’s back to work now. I had the day off today and spent it doing crafts and DIY projects.
It’s finally nice out. The heat really takes a toll on your mood.
Next week I have three days off, so I’ll be devoting myself to my hobbies again (crocheting, making birthday cards, crafting beaded angels).

My week of vacation is over too... unfortunately.

But there are still the afternoons to enjoy the garden and plenty of free time—that’s like a vacation for me. It rained a little yesterday, so maybe I can work on my new seating area today. There’s still quite a bit of unwanted greenery that needs to be removed.
