Knitting Wrist Warmers

Dear users, dear authors,
What material should you use for knitted wrist warmers if they shouldn’t be too warm?

Do you mean wrist warmers or leg warmers?
For wrist warmers, I’d recommend sock yarn; for leg warmers, you can definitely use slightly thicker yarn. At least that’s how I see it. My legs are always cold. 

Last winter, I knitted a lot of wrist warmers. Mostly with yarn with a yardage of 100–120 m and size 4 needles.

For spring or as a decorative accessory, I choose thinner yarn, as Ruth mentioned above—for example, sock yarn. This usually has a yardage of 210 m and uses a smaller needle size—2.5 or 3. You could also add a pretty lace pattern.

I’ve crocheted some like this before, but they were quickly given away.

Would those be 100 g skeins then?

Do you mean the 210 m? That’s 210 m per 50 grams
