Plus Sizes

Hello, fellow crocheters!

I’d love to crochet a great vest—sleeveless, maybe with a hood. Unfortunately, I can only find patterns up to size 42 here. Can anyone help me convert this to size 54?

I’m currently working on a crochet pattern for a jacket that can also be made in plus sizes.
As a variation, you can also make a vest instead of a jacket with sleeves.
However, it will still take about 2 weeks until the pattern—and especially the product photos (I just need some nice weather for those)—are ready.
Maybe you’d like to just make a note of my name/shop and check back there in due time.

I’m sorry, but I didn’t really view that as an advertisement (there isn’t [yet] any specific pattern, no link, etc.), but simply as a friendly response to the user’s question.

thanks for your understanding. I just added a few links to some potentially suitable promotion threads in the thread above your post. Do we need a separate thread for plus sizes? If so, I’ll start a corresponding promotion thread for that.

Maybe it would actually be helpful to feature large sizes separately.
I think that would be a good category, too, because it would make it easier for women (and men) to find the right patterns!

I completely agree with you, ZwergnaseBaer—I would have wanted to help this lady in the same way, because all my items so far have been exclusively in plus sizes. I, too, would have viewed it more as helpful guidance than as advertising.
