Crochet soap pouches

Dear users, dear authors,
Do you use soap pouches? Would crocheted, knitted, or sewn soap pouches be an option for you?

Well, I don’t really get the point of soap pouches. But maybe someone can explain to me what they’re good for?

You can collect even the tiniest scraps in them and use them along with the soap, so nothing falls on the floor in the shower anymore.

I find them really handy for “solid shampoo,” which is really just hair soap. With my long, thick hair, I can lather it up so much better this way.
They’re also great for children’s hands or for adults (seniors) whose hands aren’t as steady anymore, because the soap doesn’t keep slipping out of their hands.

I also crocheted my hand soap at the sink using felting yarn. I was very satisfied.

I remember the soap bags from back in the day. My grandma used to keep them in the linen closet. Everything smelled like Lux soap, and Grandpa would grumble about it.

I crocheted some myself once, but I don’t use them. I get by better without them. I can still use up the soap anyway. I always “stick” the leftover piece from the old bar onto the new one.
