Hard-working little helpers: Are you creative?

dear little helpers,
are you hard-working and creative?

Oh yeah, I’m pretty creative when it comes to my tax return, but that’s probably not what you mean. 🤣
Other than that, my temperature blanket is growing a little more every day, and I’m giving crocheted socks another try. I tried that a while back, but it didn’t work out—now I’ve found a different pattern.
And I just ordered a little more Catania yarn because I’m running out of some colors...

Crocheted socks—I’d love to see a picture of those. I once gave away slippers like that for Christmas, and they were a big hit.

I’ve now moved on to something sweet. Something for the play kitchen

I’m currently busy sewing children’s toys and knitting on my warm, cozy blanket for Göga, my little frostbite victim, every evening :-)

This is how far I’ve gotten so far. The pattern is easy to follow, it’s forming a nice spiral, and everything’s going well. Now I just need to see how they fit without a heel; I’m just crocheting a straight tube.
In any case, they already feel much better than my first attempt at crocheted socks—those were way too hard and stiff. These ones are definitely stretchy, too, which is a great start.

Thanks for sharing. A lovely color for spring. You can even see the spirals. I like it. If only my wish list weren’t already so long—so many ideas. I’d like the socks, too.

I’m currently working on the next pattern, and after a brief bout of demotivation, I’m making better progress on the project again. Everything has been crocheted and photographed. Now it’s time to neatly write out my notes and fine-tune the layout... At any rate, my initial enthusiasm for the idea is slowly returning, and that’s already something :-)

Is there a new model for the kids’ kitchen again? Your creations are great. That cake—I could just take a bite right now!
