This little guy just got finished, and he’s hand-sewn again. He’s also based on one of my teddy bear books that’s been sitting in my closet for a long time.

Yes, that’s true. The wiggly teddy bears are loved. We adults always pay attention to proportions because we have them stored in our brains. But kids have their own ideas about things. And you just have to be able to hold the teddy bears well and wiggle them around. They want to be taken everywhere and have to be able to withstand quite a bit. Your tiny little teddy is surely already looking forward to making a child especially happy.

And you sewed him by hand again. What an accomplishment! It’s great that you were able to use fabric scraps for him. That way, everything has a purpose and brings joy.
