Dear users, dear authors,
This thread features only the highlights. Check them all out. You’ve got to have these.

@Authors
: Please post only animal patterns here that use leftover yarn, are suitable for beginners, and are very affordable.
Patterns must include at least 4 lines of text—don’t forget to include a picture and a link. Include information on the difficulty level, technique, materials/amount of yarn needed, and any special features of the pattern.
Good luck!

These pretty owls are really very simple and still look great.
You can use them as keychains or bag charms.
I have included lots of pictures in my pattern and explained everything step by step. (2 different sizes) This means even a beginner can make this owl with very little time.

If you make them nice and colorful, you really only need a little yarn for the individual pieces.

And here is the pattern. Have fun!

How about this great little mouse keychain/bag charm.
It is really super easy to crochet, with no complicated techniques. You only need a tiny amount, maybe 20 g of yarn, if that.

I currently have this crochet pattern on offer with a 20% discount, so it’s under 1.00 EUR.
Have fun, yours Dorigurumi

These little owls are perfect for using up leftover yarn. They’re quick and easy to make and ideal as gifts—for example, as window hangers or flower picks.
The pattern is described step by step with pictures and text on two separate pages in the pattern, making it suitable for beginners. This pattern is currently available at a 15% discount.

You’ll need various leftover yarn scraps, stuffing, 15 mm half-pearls, some glue, and a size 2.5 crochet hook.

Skills required: single crochet, loop stitches, and color changes.
The owls made with Catania 50g/125lm will be about 15 cm tall

Dig through your scrap box and have fun crocheting!

How about a cute little rattle cat that’s a hit not only with toddlers but also with school-age kids and cat lovers?
It’s absolutely perfect for beginners who already know how to make single crochet stitches and chain stitches. And it’s ideal for using up leftover yarn, since you only need 10 grams total (5 grams each for a striped cat).
It’s also a great opportunity to use up those Easter surprise egg capsules you have left over.

The pattern for the little rattle cat can be found here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/15686/haekelanleitung-katze-samtpfote-hannah
