New Year's Resolutions / Wishes for 2023?

Dear users, dear authors,
Do you have any New Year's resolutions or wishes for 2023?



Oh, I have plenty: I want to reach 1,500—
that would be half of my actual goal.
I also plan to put together a few DIY tutorials.
In the woodshop, there are already 18 projects on this year’s agenda… for example:
a new garden gate, a pergola, a tomato greenhouse, and a few raised beds. But I can
only do this woodwork when the weather is nice,
because my workshop is outdoors.
I’m already curious to see what I’ll be able to accomplish.
I wish YOU all a year full of creative joy!

Like every year, I’m not making any resolutions, because things usually turn out differently than expected or hoped for anyway, so I’m saving myself the trouble and avoiding the frustration that comes with it. :-) I do have a few wishes, though: 1. That my husband continues to do as well as he has over the last 4 weeks, and that my sister makes it through this year, survives, and stays healthy. The rest will fall into place when the time comes, because I take after my grandpa, who always used to say, “Why worry about things that haven’t happened yet?”

My wish is to make progress.

Other than that, I’ll just see what the year brings.

I don’t have any resolutions either.
I’m hoping for good health for my loved ones and that I stay healthy myself.
As Veronika already wrote, I hope the war finally ends and doesn’t spread any further.
Other than that, we’ll see what the year brings.

New Year’s resolutions? No, I haven’t made any for three decades now. Things always turn out differently than you plan.

The most important thing of all is health. If that’s reasonably in order, the rest just falls into place.

And that’s exactly what I wish for all authors and the entire CP team: good health.

Thanks, Birgit. Yes, that’s what I wish for everyone, too—health is the greatest gift.

I’ve also stopped making grand resolutions and wishes. I’m living more and more in the moment and doing whatever is necessary or inspires me right now. That’s working out pretty well for me.
