Who/what sits on top of your Christmas tree?

Dear users, dear authors,
how do you decorate your Christmas tree topper? Traditionally with an angel, or not so much?

At the very top is a silver tree topper. Below that, along the longer section up to where the first branches begin, hangs an angel.

I do love lavishly decorated trees, but at the very top, I prefer it to be naturally green somehow 😅

Sometimes I hang a star or something like that, but I don’t put anything on top.

Personally, I’d rather hang cute little angels like that on the tree in that case.

Mine is green at the top too; there’s just a little golden bell hanging there

We used to always have tree toppers like the one in Ruth’s photo, but these days we don’t even have a tree anymore. And with our artificial decorations, there’s nothing sitting on top.

I’ve attached a Fröbel star made from wide ribbon to the top of my Christmas tree.
I left the back flat, and the four protruding ribbons hang decoratively downward.

We’re just like Veronika . We don’t have a tree either. An artificial Advent wreath with decorations, colorful lights everywhere—that’s it.

Okay, in Norway we had a small artificial tree, and once a real one—back then I had a big Fröbel star on top, or sometimes just a simple red Christmas ornament on a ribbon. It varies for me.

Back when I was at my parents’ house, there was that obligatory white Christmas tree topper with silver glitter on top—the kind they used to have back then. I thought it was beautiful as a kid; it was the icing on the cake for the tree.




For me, it’s more of a classic, retro-style tree topper… but crocheted, of course!

Well, crocheted and more—it looks absolutely sensational!
