What are you knitting right now?

Dear users, dear authors,
What’s on your knitting needles?

I still have fingerless gloves on my needles. Word has gotten around among my coworkers and friends, and many have asked about them. So now I’m making wrist warmers. And then I also have a hat for my grandson on my needles. I have to keep taking breaks to let him try it on and ask if he likes it. But I’m almost done with that one. 

Petra, I really like the color you showed!
I’ve started knitting socks for my husband. In black. I find that pretty challenging—good lighting is even more important than with other colors. 

I’m knitting a 60-cm-wide scarf for myself using the leftover yarn from my red soul warmer.

@Petra, yes, I know what you mean ... Wrist warmers are becoming more and more popular among my coworkers.

@Karola, oh dear, black socks (thin yarn, and black at that). I hope your husband appreciates them.

I’ve just finished knitting a cardigan for my friend. It will be a Christmas gift and is already wrapped. So unfortunately, I can only show you a bit of the color. A lovely thick wool yarn with some cashmere and colorful merino yarn knitted in.





Right now I’m working on my shawl with short rows. The alpaca yarn is so soft and warm that I’m really delighted with it. It feels so wonderfully warm even while I’m knitting. But I still have to keep at it, because it’s supposed to be finished by Christmas.

I just finished a vest with matching wrist warmers and a hat for my granddaughter’s little dolls. 

And now I’m starting a Santa Claus costume for my grandson’s teddy bear.

I just finished knitting the last winter jumpsuit. It’s for my little star now.



And now I’m continuing to knit a sweater for my granddaughter while also working on a hat for our friend. It all has to be finished by Christmas.

The Japanese gloves for my son and grandson are almost done; now I’m knitting a little scarf for my daughter-in-law. Unfortunately, my measurements don’t match the patterns at all—technically not a problem, it just takes longer! And I still need to finish the crocodile for my little grandson… (along with everything else that was actually meant to be a Christmas gift!)

YEAH... I'm really enjoying knitting right now... it's going to be a sweater for my husband...
