Dear users, dear designers,
I get the impression that you’re not really the target audience for things like this—or am I wrong?
Once again, I was looking through women’s magazines for suitable chat topics, and this is what came up. Well. You know how it goes. Crafting is relaxing, and relaxation keeps you young.
For me personally, cosmetic surgery isn’t for me. Sure, I’m far from perfect, but I’m just not the type for that sort of thing.
I’d rather stay young through crafts!
That said, I can understand why people choose that path if something about their body bothers them so much that they’re suffering because of it.
Then it’s no longer just about “beauty,” but also about a person’s mental health.
If it makes someone happier: wonderful!
Since I inherited my dad’s good genes, thank goodness I don’t need that, because I don’t think much of fiddling with your body—unless it’s for health or to support the musculoskeletal system. You should age with dignity and feel free to show your wrinkles; they tell the person you’re talking to that you’ve lived and been through a lot. When I look at Bohlen’s face—smoothed out to the point of no return—that’s not a face; it’s a mask he wears. There are so many people like that who, unfortunately, have a huge influence on young and immature people, making them think they have to look that way too. I’m also not a fan of Botox and the like.
Oh no, I don’t need that either—it’s enough for me to be forced under the knife every now and then; it’s never fun, after all.
I have wrinkles on my face, scars too, and all over my body—that’s just how it is; that’s who I am. Okay, the scars on my face were pretty scary and noticeable at first, but eventually they turn into thin lines you can barely see—and that’s exactly what happened. If they’d turned out thick and raised, then I might have had them corrected so I wouldn’t be walking around scaring children.
I thought the latest TV pictures of Berlusconi were absolutely awful—goodness gracious, even a ventriloquist’s dummy has more facial expressions than that!
I totally agree with you there. You should just let everything be natural.
Sure, there are problem areas here and there, but you can live with them.
For others who suffer emotionally because of them, I think that’s okay.
Luckily, I inherited good genes from my parents, and I’m glad that I can eat whatever I want without gaining weight.
