Admittedly, it’s not quite winter yet. But after such a long, beautiful summer, the cooler temperatures feel extra cold, don’t they? These wrist warmers are perfect—they keep you nice and warm without being too thick, and they allow plenty of freedom of movement for your fingers. If the office heating is turned down to save electricity, you can even work comfortably at your computer with these wrist warmers ;-)

Just the right thing for this transitional weather is my knitted vest Romy.
It is knitted a bit unconventionally, starting at the band and then continuing across the back. Only a short section under the arms is sewn together.
It is knitted with thicker yarn, 250–300 m per 100 g; there are instructions for 2 sizes, but it can easily be adjusted to your own preferences.

Arm warmers, wrist warmers, hand warmers, Amediisli, fingerless gloves - we have many names for this great accessory! And now the time is coming again when we can really use them, especially when we need warm hands and free fingers for working...
Fresh off the needles is my newest model, TINY DROPS - pretty little “dew drops,” like pearls strung on a cord, are the design element here. All 4-ply sock yarns are suitable; here I used some leftover variegated yarn as a contrast to the solid-colored base. It is knitted mostly in knit stitches - so it’s very relaxed knitting! They are described for 3 sizes - suitable for most women’s hands, from narrow to sturdy - and with thumbs for a good fit!

Now you can get started; here’s the knitting pattern: Tiny Drops

Have fun knitting,
Annette

Sock yarn is incredibly versatile—you can even use it to make a warm loop scarf. This one is knitted with a simple lace pattern that looks great and feels very fluffy.

The loop can be knitted quickly and easily from leftover sock yarn. You can use any yarn and make it in any size. You can quickly calculate the desired width based on the gauge of the yarn you’re using.

If you can knit and purl stitches and knit on a set of double-pointed needles or on a circular needle, you're basically ready to get started!
Bamberg is a ribbed hat with a modern look. The pattern describes three sizes. It is knitted on a set of double-pointed needles or on a circular needle, and the sock-weight or fingering-weight yarn is held double. If you combine two different yarns, beautiful effects are created (as with the blue-and-beige hat in the picture).

The Hallstadt wrist warmers are the perfect way to complete your fall outfit. I wrote the pattern to match the Bamberg hat. The wrist warmers are knitted from the bottom up using a set of double-pointed needles. The thumb is shaped with a gusset, so the wrist warmers fit perfectly!

You’ll need fingering-weight yarn, worked double-stranded, or DK-weight yarn (single-stranded). The pattern is easy—it only involves knitting and purl stitches.

Knitted wrist warmers with a cable pattern

Knitted with doubled yarn and a set of double-pointed needles. This makes the wrist warmers nice and warm when the temperatures outside and inside become unpleasant.

This cute little guardian angel is just waiting for you to knit it and give it as a gift. It’s a wonderful gift for all kinds of occasions when a loved one needs a little comfort or strength. Depending on the yarn, you can make a washcloth or a dishcloth. You only need knit and purl stitches to make this, so even beginners can successfully knit this cloth.

I’m wearing my Comfy Slipover all the time these days. When it’s a little warmer, I wear it as a top:

And on colder days, I wear a blouse or a T-shirt underneath.

You can also knit it with long sleeves; both versions are described in the beginner-friendly pattern.
It’s knitted seamlessly from the top down, so there’s no need to sew the pieces together! The small V-neck is shaped as you knit.
If you know how to knit and purl stitches, you’re basically ready to go. It’s knitted with fingering-weight yarn. Have fun!

This little bear is really looking forward to Christmas! All he needs is to be knitted so he can bring a sparkle to someone’s eyes—whether in an Advent calendar, on St. Nicholas Day, or under the Christmas tree :-)

The Christmas bear can be knitted as a washcloth or dishcloth. The pattern consists only of knit stitches and purl stitches, so it’s absolutely perfect for beginners.

Knitted headbands are a lovely alternative to hats.

Here’s a 2-stitch cable pattern for you. This way, you won’t need a cable needle.
I designed the headband so that it tapers slightly at the back of the neck, allowing it to conform well to the shape of the head. The size can be easily adjusted to fit any head circumference. Yarn usage was always less than 50 grams, with a yardage of approximately 110–160 m per 50 grams.

My son asked for a sweater for his final exam. That’s how Lost Places came to be. Since we liked the sweater so much, I knitted one for myself too and wrote down the pattern in 7 sizes.

You knit it seamlessly from the top down. The textured pattern in the stripes (brown in my case) and the sleeves is very simple and creates a beautiful effect. You can knit it with lace yarn (double strand) or fingering yarn (single strand).
