We’re going to be pajamas

Yesterday I went through my pajamas, and some of them are starting to come apart at the seams, some hang on me as if I’d stolen them, much too loose and too old to bother altering much, it’s not worth it, I look in them like the proverbial goat in a milking pail ;-) So I need something new; today I bought some fabric for that, 6 m of cotton jersey. Let’s see whether it’ll make 2 or even 3 pairs of pajamas :-)

I used to sew pajamas for the boys out of scraps :-) They turned out pretty colorful 

Yeah, I have more than enough patterns—I’ll just use really simple ones, since I’m not the type for ruffles and stuff. The legs will only be knee-length, too, because I hate it when pant legs roll up like a sausage, and it’s too hot with long pant legs anyway.

Oh Inge, such beautiful fabrics :-) They really make my heart sing, too. I love floral patterns like these, and the shades of pink and dusty pink as well. I’ve sewn the same rose pattern on a cream-colored background before for a pair of baby pants.

I hope you have lots of fun sewing with these lovely fabrics. I’m sure they’ll make for a particularly good night’s sleep.

So, my pajamas are sewn now—I ended up with two pairs, but I’ll be able to make a few more pairs of underwear for myself from the scraps :-)

Very nice! The patterns and colors go together beautifully. The set on the right is my favorite :-)
