Please explain Round 14 of the Mickey Nose! I don't understand it! Please translate it into understandable German.

...and who is the designer, please, and how can I contact them? I bought the pattern, but there’s no name listed. Also, of course, I bought the materials, and now I’m frustrated by the gibberish in the text: “Make the inside: 5 double sc—crochet 2 rounds together (crochet sc through round 10 + sc from round 13), 16 sc, 5 double sc—crochet 2 rounds together,(crochet sc through round 10 + sc from round 13)(26)”!!! I have some experience with crocheting, so I was able to make sense of some of the inconsistencies—probably caused by computer translation—but now I’m at a loss and urgently need help.

Click on the name - that will take you to the designer’s shop section, where you can click on "send message"

Here’s how I read it:
crochet the next 5 sc from R10 and R13 together (in other words, insert your hook through the stitches at the same time, thus joining the rows)


16 sc

now crochet 2 rows together again, also using 5 sc each time

= 26 sc total

it’s worded a bit confusingly - I admit that - but after reading it 5 times, it became clear to me what the author meant

Oh, okay, Sabine... learned something new again.... It just came across as a bit odd because there wasn’t even a “hello” in the first post.... But it doesn’t matter anyway.... Like I said, I don’t know the pattern, but that’s what I’m getting from it.... Hope it works out now

Hi, I had the same problem, but after giving it a lot of thought, I figured it out. But now I’m on round 21 and I’m stuck :-)

If you tell me which pattern you’re referring to, I’ll contact the author and ask them to read the forum thread and help out here. OK?

This is about the Mickey and Minnie pattern by babycrochet, specifically the nose.

I sent a private message and asked the author to read through this thread and answer the questions.

As expected, the author still hasn’t responded. The pattern was generally so poor that I had to figure out a lot of it on my own. Very disappointing.
