Interior design trends featuring crocheted items?

Since I already touched on this topic briefly in

what are some current trends in crocheted decor?
Is there actually some kind of “home decor etiquette” for crocheted items?
Well, okay, that would probably be a funny idea :)
I’d love to know how you guys handle it, what you think about it, and stuff like that.
I can never use my crocheted blankets by myself because there’s always at least one cat lying on them—that’s totally unfair. ;)

Are you planning to crochet your whole house? That’s quite a project you’ve taken on :-)

Come to think of it... aside from the amigurumis I’m constantly crocheting... (excluding hats, jackets, and scarves...) I don’t have any crocheted items lying around the house :-)

We don’t have anything crocheted in our house either—just two pillows, but they’re solid-colored and knitted.
But the trend seems to be moving toward crocheted items. The internet is just teeming with blankets, pillows, and so on.
I was just wondering how well my crochet pattern for pot holders is being received—I crocheted the last ones about half a century ago, and I don’t even have any of them at home myself.

Hmm, I actually would’ve thought the pros would have more crocheted items at home. :)

Well, we already have some crocheted items at home—potholders, of course (I don’t want to burn my fingers with my second hobby), but aside from that, I crochet everything I post as a pattern primarily for us, so I might as well turn it into a pattern while I’m at it. Though not everything ends up becoming a pattern.
We have crocheted blankets in the kids’ room, crocheted pillows and blankets for the garden bench, crocheted or embroidered tablecloths, crocheted or sewn bags, crocheted bolster cushions, and decorations all year round—some sewn, some crocheted—not to mention hats, sweaters, socks, and jackets, whether knitted or crocheted. I’ve also been working on a crocheted bedspread for a while now (I hope it’ll be finished sometime soon). And crocheted dolls and animals, doll clothes… well, quite a few things, really, and yet it doesn’t feel overdone.
