Baby Flip-Flops with Flowers

I just bought this pattern, "Baby Flip-Flops with Flowers," and it calls for cotton yarn (e.g., Catania by Schachenmary). Does anyone know what yarn I can use instead (e.g., sports weight, baby weight, or something else)?

Hi tjs067,
as far as I know Catania is a sport weight yarn. At least the 50g balls with a length of 125 meters. If that's the type used in the pattern you should be fine with any sport weight yarn. :)
