Summer Skirt

Hello everyone

I’m a beginner and need your help.
I’m crocheting a skirt. The pattern says:
Ch 3, 1 dc in the 4th st from the hook, 1 dc in each ch to the end of the row.
Can someone explain this to me in more detail? I’ve attached photos. I crocheted it, but it looks completely different from the photo.

Hi Heidi,

you crochet as many chain stitches as needed.
Then, in the 4th chain stitch—counting from the right—you make the first double crochet. After that, you crochet one double crochet in each of the remaining chain stitches.

You aren’t allowed to upload images here that don’t belong to you. I therefore had to remove the images. Have you already tried contacting the author? I can do that for you if necessary, of course only if they have a shop on Crazypatterns. 

Okay, I didn’t know that. That way, I can’t show what the skirt is supposed to look like. If you could do that, I’d be very grateful.
