The weekend is supposed to be hot and summery! That’s the perfect time to sit in the shade and work on small crochet projects that don’t take too long and don’t require you to hold much yarn.
Here are a few summer projects I’d like to suggest:

Maybe you’d like to crochet a pretty
beach chair ? Would you like a beach chair for a dress-up doll? Or should it become part of a summery door wreath? You can choose the size yourself.
The base is a cardboard box that is cut to size and then crocheted around. That’s how you bring the Baltic Sea (or the North Sea?) into your home!

Of course, a beach scene also needs a few decorative
seashells. If you don’t have any real ones, you can crochet some from your leftover yarn. With this pattern, you can make three different models. Depending on the yarn used, they will come out in different sizes too.

And here’s another cheerful sea creature joining them:
Oskar the Octopus was crocheted from a leftover gradient yarn cake. This gives his body a subtle color gradient. But of course, Oskar can also be made with any other yarn.
