Gardening

It’s been raining, so everything’s easy to hoe. Now I just need to clear away the green clippings, and then it’s time to get the knitting needles out.

It’s still sunny here for now, but they’re saying there’s going to be plenty of rain. I’ve already been for a walk, and now I’m going to do some knitting—the blanket still isn’t finished....

You’re all so hard at work—in the garden, around the house, and on your crafts. That’s exactly what this bad weather is for—so we can all clatter away with our knitting and crochet needles without feeling guilty.

My husband finally got around to doing our tax return today. Best not to bring it up.
So I’d rather sit quietly at the computer and edit the photos for my next pattern. That’s fun, too.

Outside, the rain has already watered the garden. And we’re not expecting any visitors, so the house doesn’t have to be spotless. Just the bare essentials ;-)
