Spring is finally here! In all its glory, everywhere, full of blossoms and sunshine. I love it. Since it’s May 1st, there are festivals everywhere. Our town is celebrating its 775th anniversary, and there will be festivities all weekend long. We’ll definitely be stopping by here and there to enjoy the culture, the company, and the spring weather.

Oh, thank you—I wish the same for everyone!
I’ve already seen the first little May trees for sale here; let’s see which of the girls next door gets one.
Do people still—or will they start again—dance into May? We’ll (hopefully) be having a barbecue to celebrate the start of May; we’ve been invited by good friends and have accepted. That would be the first time in months that my husband has left the house. The physical therapist stopped by today and gave the green light—he should be able to handle it just fine.

Thank you, everyone. I also wish everyone who stops by here a lovely spring weekend. The sun is shining today, and I’m enjoying it. It’s supposed to rain this weekend, but that’s okay. Nature needs the rain, too.

It was freezing today. I was shivering nicely when I had to go to my appointment first thing in the morning... grumble

A dear friend hinted at a “joyful surprise” for me—just as a heads-up.
Now, of course, I’m curious to see what’s in store for me.
