What should it be this weekend? It’s ideal if you don’t have to go buy yarn first for a weekend project. How about some new supplies for the play kitchen or grocery store? It’s a great way to use up your leftover yarn.


A basket with 9 kinds of vegetables: tomato, bell pepper, cauliflower, leek, zucchini, eggplant, corn, carrot, and kohlrabi. If you choose the right color, the vegetables look almost real!


 
A crate full of fruit:  You can crochet 12 kinds of fruit here: cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, kiwi, peach, bananas, apples, pears, melon, and pineapple. They are actually quite easy to crochet, but the same applies here: it all comes down to the right color!


 
Some people prefer something savory: the Bavarian snack board  includes the crochet patterns for the white sausages, the pretzel, the radishes, and of course the mustard!

It’s still hat season—the warm days are taking their time to arrive. Here’s a lovely pattern for a spring hat with yarn overs and slipped stitches.
