☞ Question of the Week: Do you take your crafts outside into the sun?

Dear users, dear authors,
the weather is pleasant right now. Do you take your crafts outside, or is it still a little too chilly for that?

of course!
When the sun is shining and the kids are playing in the yard or at the playground, this mom sits right there and crochets ;)
(I generally always take a craft project with me wherever I go...sitting around waiting without keeping my hands busy is wasted time for me ;) )

I love sitting on the balcony, enjoying the first warm rays of sunshine while knitting or crocheting. :-)
Whenever the sun is shining and I have time, I grab my current UFO and head out to the balcony. Winter was long enough. ;-)

I’m just like Nina. Just sitting there doing nothing isn’t my thing.

But I’m spending less time in the garden right now. It’s still too quiet for me there at the moment. I’d rather sit on the rooftop terrace in the sun, listen to the kids playing down on the street, and enjoy a view of greenery in three directions.

That really puts me in a summery mood.

Definitely... as soon as the sun comes out, I’m out on the patio with my yarn and crochet hook.
My husband’s already worried that I’ll soon be bringing my crafts with me into the pool too... lol

I’m happy for every ray of sunshine I can enjoy.

Always... since we have places to sit all around the house, I can always crochet. In the spring, I follow the sun, and in the height of summer, I seek the shade :-).

I just can’t sit around with nothing to do with my hands.

I’d take some handwork with me to the playground too, but my youngest is 1 1/2 and tries everything out. You can’t even look away for a minute, and it’s hardly worth sitting down either ;) But I do like to take it out onto the balcony, provided the little ones are asleep.

I always take mine with me to the playground, but I never get around to crocheting.... The kids want to be entertained, after all. And Mom is great at building sandcastles ;-)
