a circle skirt, a pair of baby pants, and the romper were added now too, but now I really need a break; I’m somehow exhausted. On Wednesday, all these things are going to the children’s food bank so they can go on the transport to Ukraine

Dear Inge, You’ve always been so hardworking and are now sewing nonstop. The children’s clothes look absolutely enchanting and are sure to find happy recipients in Ukraine or among other children in need. Just imagine their joy when they discover the items and take them home. That’s the reward for your work. But be sure to take enough breaks so you can recharge your energy.

Thanks to your many expert sewing posts, I plan to start sewing (children’s) clothes soon. I’ve ordered some fabric (jersey and ribbing for the cuffs) and bought a pattern here. I might have a question or two :-) You, your beautiful children’s clothes, and your enthusiasm for sewing have inspired me to learn how to do it myself.

I’m so glad I was able to get you excited about sewing.
My dad always used to say to me: “Inge, remember one thing for life: a child’s little tummy fills up very quickly.” And he was absolutely right. Even as I’m sewing, I picture the children’s eyes lighting up, and that’s what drives me.

Inge, I’m also amazed at how fast you are and what beautiful things you sew. And I feel the same way as Ina. I’m thinking about getting some fabric or sewing kids’ clothes out of the clothes I no longer wear. Your enthusiasm is really contagious.
