Pig Sewing Pattern / Lucky Pig Sewing Pattern

Dear users, dear authors,
If you want to sew a pig or a lucky pig, what should you keep in mind when it comes to the sewing pattern, the fabric, the stuffing, or the sewing process? Do you have any tips and tricks, or would you like to share your experiences? Posting your own photos is always a good idea.

Oh, I’ve made quite a few little piggies already, whether knitted, sewn, or even embroidered on the embroidery machine

especially since my hometown is Schweinfurt

here’s a little piggy as a cleaning pig, then a lucky piggy made from blue cotton fabric, which my granddaughter got when she moved on to Gymnasium, and then I knitted one for one of my daughters as a neck pillow

Inge, your little pigs are adorable.

I haven’t knitted one yet. I think yours is so colorful and really beautiful.

I give away the ones I sew every now and then.

I don’t really have any tips. I just start sewing. I’m not an expert like Inge.

  If the first one doesn’t turn out so great, I try to do better the second time. I find it easier to sew when the project isn’t quite so small. But thanks to the copier, you can make a lot of things a little bigger.

As for fabric, I usually use old clothes or table and bed linens. My motto is simply to make something new out of something old. 





I sewed this little pig for my daughter out of an old pair of her jeans

I’ve already sewn a simple little pig myself :). It’s very simple—just two pieces with stuffing inside :). It makes a lovely little good-luck charm!

Yes, I also gave away my coasters as good-luck charms after New Year’s Eve.
