I wish the same for you and all our readers. Make yourselves comfortable and get into the Christmas spirit! Maybe you can start digging out your Christmas tree decorations, or bake another batch of cookies... or knit and crochet the last few Christmas gifts :-) Maybe there’s even snow where you are—if so, head out into the fresh air and enjoy everything you can. I even have an Advent arrangement out on the garden table so that passersby have something to look at.

This weekend, I plan to bake Christmas cookies and make meal plans for the holidays..... and watch the ski races in between 😊

Here in the south near Stuttgart, there’s no snow. It’s a foreign concept here.

I’m going to sew a few more stars and trees to use as tags for the gifts.

I think sewing stars and trees as gift tags is a great idea! I love this decoration—it makes every gift even more beautiful!

I’ll quickly show you what I made last year as decorative ornaments. It was fun, and since I made a few extra ornaments right away, I was able to use them to decorate my gifts today. I used air-drying clay (Fimo Air) to cut out ornaments with cookie cutters and stamped them with a rubber stamp (knitting pattern texture). Then I punched a small hole in each one and let them harden. You could also glaze them—then they’d look like frosting.
