For me—the green fabric is leftover from a shirt jacket, and the gray is leftover from a pair of pants I still need to sew, which I also cut out yesterday.
Girls, don’t be surprised if it feels like I sew things for you in the blink of an eye—I learned how to do it a long time ago, and as an industrial seamstress, speed is the first thing they teach you. Plus, once you know how, it just flies by. :-)

Love, Inge

So, the pants are sewn too. Since there was nothing on TV today that could lure me in front of the screen, I sat down at the sewing machine :-)

Dear Inge, that outfit looks so perfect for relaxing—so cozy. The rest of us without any sewing skills are forced to buy everything. And these days, you spend more time searching than actually finding the right piece. Either the cut is off or the fabric is wrong. You have the luxury of being able to choose both. So go ahead and get cozy in your loungewear.

Love, Ina

Hi Inge,
do you sew jersey fabrics with a “regular” machine or an “overlock” machine?
Everything you make always looks sooo professional. Last summer, I sewed a pair of baby pants for a very small baby. The cuffs were made of jersey, and the rest was made of cotton fabric. From the outside, I think they look pretty good. But on the inside, nothing looks neat. I’m still thinking about getting an overlock machine though??
I can pass them on within the family, but when others ask for them, I unfortunately always have to say no.
Best, Petra

First of all, thank you for your compliments :-)

@Petra, I have an overlock and a coverlock; I use them to sew most of my jersey items

Best regards, Inge
