St. Nicholas needs some help

Of course, I didn’t have the right gift bags for St. Nicholas’s presents. So yesterday I sat down at my sewing machine and sewed some little bags out of old tablecloths, pillowcases, and a skirt.

A great and sustainable idea, and beautifully executed. As a kid, though, I’d probably be more interested in what’s inside :-) It’s great that you always save old tablecloths and such so you can repurpose them like this.

By now, the bags themselves are important to my grandson, too. He uses them to tidy up his toys so the small pieces don’t get lost and everything stays together. 

They are also used for vacations. For toys, art supplies, books. That way, everything has its place.
