Angels are simply part of the Advent and Christmas season. This angel, however, can stand by a child’s bed all year round, because it is a
guardian angel nightlight and helps children who don’t like being in the dark fall asleep. The light is an LED lamp that the angel stands on, and it can be controlled with a remote control.
These sweet little
chubby angels make heavenly music:

They are about 8 cm tall and very easy to make. Right now, with Advent coming up, you can get the instruments inexpensively at floral-supply shops or craft stores. But even without instruments, the little angels are a cute Christmas decoration. Put little sheets of music in their hands, and you have a heavenly choir!
Nativity figures (shepherd scene) are a great project for using up leftover yarn while creating something creative and individual. At 10 cm tall, these figures are the ideal size: they don’t take up too much space, but the crocheting also doesn’t get too fiddly, even if you want to work out small details. The pattern for the shepherd scene includes crochet patterns for 3 different shepherds, one lying-down and one standing sheep, as well as the Christmas angel.

Isn’t this a cute keychain? You can quickly crochet the little
moose from a few bits of leftover yarn. You can also use it as a gift tag or Christmas tree ornament.

With the little
star gnomes you can also use up your colorful leftovers, because about 20 g of cotton yarn is enough for one gnome. They can be used as gift tags or as Christmas tree ornaments. Or you can hang them in a row, e.g. on a string of lights, and turn them into a cheerful, colorful garland for the entryway or window.
