Slip stitches + dropped stitches

Dear users, dear designers,
how do you work the slip stitches and the dropped stitches?

I especially love slipped-stitch patterns; you can be very creative with them.
The slipped stitches are simply slipped as if to purl, with the yarn carried behind the stitch. On the wrong side, the yarn is carried in front of the stitch.

You can carry the slipped stitches over 2, 4, or even more rows. This offers many variations.

I haven’t worked with dropped stitches yet.

Drop stitches are worked with at least 2 yarn overs, which are dropped on the wrong side row.
The following stitch is drawn out long.

Slip stitches are great; you can knit patterns in two or more colors and still only have one color per row... I’m knitting a lot of them right now...

All with slip stitches...
With dropped-stitch patterns, I always prefer to count again lots of times to make sure I’m dropping the right stitch and not accidentally the one before or after it...
