Forum game: What makes fall enjoyable for us—from A to Z

Dear friends,

fall has its good moments, too. When it gets cooler and stormier outside again, we make ourselves cozy in our favorite warm spot with our knitting needles and cozy yarn. Or with lots of craft supplies, fabric, or whatever other materials you like to work with.

What makes fall special for you? I’m sure you can think of something, right? Even if it’s just baking a cake, listening to music, or something else entirely...

Here, from A to Z, we can share wonderful ideas with other visitors that help us enjoy the fall. I’m excited to hear your ideas. :)


I (Monika) will start right away with A:
Going through all my yarn stash and happily realizing that I have enough for the winter. What a feeling! :)

B ... crocheting colorful pumpkins

C... Cello music while knitting on the sofa

D... Crocheting thick yarn scraps into animal nests

Collecting acorns 

F – colorful leaves falling from the trees—you can even crochet them

G: A cozy tea time for two.

H – Doing crafts while listening to beautiful music in a cozy, warm room

I – Running through the rustling leaves in the forest and feeling like a kid again

Buy some jute yarn to crochet some fall decorations 

Wearing cozy loungewear.

Lanterns ...set them up everywhere in the garden and on the steps, decorate and light them beautifully for fall.

Cappuccino trinken,  and lounging on the Couch with some crochet

A walk through the garden....
Admiring the colors and maybe discovering something that brings a smile to your face...
a bean tree, for example.
And afterward, sitting nice and cozy on the sofa and doing some handwork....
