my garden is doing wonderfully - it’s green and blooming and fragrant, and there’s always something to eat, too. Just now we had cucumber salad from our own garden. Of course with our own herbs (dill and parsley).

The fruit trees seem to be taking a break this year. The late frost froze many of the fruit blossoms. But that way the trees won’t have to work so hard this year and will grow stronger for it. 

There are so many things to marvel at and admire in every season. Every day I take a walk around and look at everything closely and with great enjoyment. After my walk, I always know what still needs to be done.

As an example for all the others, today I’ll show you my rambler rose "Dorothee 2," which climbs over my terrace. A sea of blossoms delights me every day. Picture 1 looks a little milky; that’s because I took the photo from inside the conservatory. So when you sit there, you have this fantastic view.

Since it rained here all through July, I'll take you on a tour of my June garden. This year it bloomed and smelled so wonderful; it was a joy.
