Thank you for sharing in my joy, my dears—it really does multiply the joy.
Yes, Ines, I actually could hardly wait for the package from Algawo to arrive, but I wasn’t expecting it today. It’s an incredibly wonderful feeling. I’m sure you can understand… :-)
I ordered a wide variety of colors right away and will also knit with them for others who aren’t just into red, yellow, and orange. There are so many ways to mix and match. When I was ordering, I was really in a color frenzy and couldn’t make up my mind.
Petra, there are several varieties. The Drops You7 (170 m/50 g) was on sale. And since I’m running out of colors now, I picked up quite a few. The yarn is nice and thin. I’ve already knitted a lot with it for the kids. It washes great and keeps its shape. The same goes for the Drops Safran (160 m/50 g). The two combine really well.
Then there’s Drops Safran (100 m/50 g)—I really love its sheen. And finally, the recycled cotton Drops You9 (125 m/50 g).
Drops Fabel (210 m/50 g) knits up just like sock yarn, and I ordered it for double-face projects. And for Drops Lima (Merino), I only needed two more skeins to go with my leftover yarn to make something out of it.
Here are the photos—you can see the different types there. If you click on them, the image will enlarge.
