New potholders

I sewed myself a couple of new potholders today; the ones I’m currently using are starting to look a bit worn out. Here you can see both sides of the potholder—it’s also a great way to use up fabric scraps.

Hi Inge, I’m assuming these are pot holders? I think they’re very practical, because every now and then you have a pot that you need to quickly pull off the stove. Sometimes it’s a cake that still needs some ingredients added before you can continue baking it. I really like the floral pattern. 

These are pot holders, Petra. My old ones are starting to fall apart.

Oh, thanks—now I see the hangers. They looked so big in the picture; I thought they were for pots :-)
