Do you like it colorful? Do you have leftover yarn in all the colors of the rainbow? You can crochet beautiful colorful things from it! Here are a few suggestions:

Rainbow Dress
The off-the-shoulder rainbow dress fits all fashion dolls of about 29 cm. You can crochet it in a short and a long version. The pattern for the little bag is also included.

Snail Mail
For the snail mail, you need about 25 g of the yellow yarn. Small leftovers are enough for the other colors.

Colorful Kittens
Anyone who loves cats is sure to be delighted with such a cute keychain. Here you can crochet up lots of tiny amounts in all colors.

Animal Numbers for a Kids’ Birthday Party
At first glance, you can hardly tell that the little animals are actually numbers. You can use them as cake toppers, gift tags, or table decorations for a kids’ birthday party.

These window chains are wonderfully suited for using up leftover photo cardstock.

For the little leaves, it’s probably nicer if they stay green, but for flowers and circles you can simply go by the colors of your scraps.

The chain elements are attached to an organza ribbon. Both the length and the number of chains are variable and can be adjusted to the respective circumstances.

The chains are very easy to make and are also very well suited for crafting with children.

With less than half a ball each in two different colors, you can crochet this cloth as a cuddle cloth / washcloth / dishcloth / potholder. Crocheting with two colors is very easy and is explained in detail in the pattern.

Crochet pattern cloth "Bear Tobi"

If you prefer knitting, you can use leftover yarn (approx. 25–30 g per color, possibly with an additional leftover for the border) to knit one of these cloths in double-face:

Knitting pattern cloth "Diggi Dino"

Rachel Triangle Shawl

The Rachel triangle shawl has a sporty, elegant look. It was made from leftover sock yarn. But you can also use any other leftovers. You can get the pattern in my Blickfang-Design store. Feel free to stop by. I’d be happy to have you visit.

Kira Triangle Shawl

Do you still have 2–3 skeins of yarn left over? That’s all you need for the Kira triangle shawl. The lace pattern uses yarn sparingly, making it especially well suited for leftover yarn. Stop by my Blickfang-Design store. You can get the pattern there.

Small leftovers are often enough for knitted baby shoes

Knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, I chose a woven pattern here. Because of the tall cuff, the little shoes are not so easy to kick off.

Crochet pattern for a blanket

For this blanket—which is started in the middle—I crocheted up all my leftovers of one yarn. The pattern repeats over 2 rounds, and the size can be crocheted individually. You start with the smallest leftovers first.

I also crocheted various leftover supplies into this blanket. You only need to know chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet.

Here you can find the crochet pattern

Crochet pattern for a balloon cover

Here, individual granny squares are crocheted and then sewn together to make a ball. For changing the balloon—if you want to wash the cover—a hidden opening is worked.

Crochet pattern for a bunting garland

Summer time - party time - This bunting garland brings good cheer - colorfully decorated, smaller leftovers can also still be crocheted up nicely here. A lovely gift for a birth, too, as a name garland

For your flower-colored photo cardstock scraps, I’d like to suggest this window decoration as your next project: If you like delicate shapes and enjoy working with a craft knife and hole punch, then this flower wreath is just right for you!

This window decoration measures approximately 33.5 x 33 cm and consists of transparent film with flowers made from photo cardstock glued onto it. It’s very easy to recreate and quick to finish.
