Snowman Weather

A spur-of-the-moment idea after shoveling snow. When kids play, they stay healthy.
Since it’s thawing a bit, the snow was just right—otherwise, it’s just powder snow. It may not look perfect, but you can still tell what it is—yay!

Andrea, your snowman looks really cool—in the truest sense of the word. :) Unfortunately, the snow here is pretty icy or wet right now, so we can’t build anything. But it’s supposed to start snowing again this weekend.

We just went for a walk, and it already felt a bit like spring. It was relatively warm compared to the last few days.

The snow here is almost too deep for a snowman...
But I trudged through the snow a little while ago (stupidly, without boots ;)) to clear the snow off the hedges because they were bent over... And afterward, I looked like a snowman myself. That’s fine, too :) 

Yes, unfortunately the fun didn’t last long. After two hours, he had simply vanished—he was no longer there, melted away. Such a shame. It was so much fun.

Andrea, I didn’t get a chance to admire your picture of the snowman until today, but too bad—it just melted away. Spring is already in the air here; we had a sunny day yesterday with +8 °C, but it’s supposed to get colder again this weekend and snow.
