Gorgeous winter weather

This is what it looks like here today. The sun is peeking out now and then, but it’s -4 °. We’re going to take a short walk. I’m sure I’ll snap a few pictures.

The sky is sooooo blue where you are. I’m blown away yet again.

Here at the foot of the Swabian Alb, we were also surprised by a white landscape this morning, but our sky is just gray on gray.

Enjoy the sun while you’re all bundled up in a scarf, hat, and gloves… I imagine it’s wonderful. Have fun and send us some pictures!

We also had our first snow of the winter this morning, and it’s still snowing. But it’s gray out, so that doesn’t exactly tempt me to go outside. Right now, we’d all love to be with Andrea in Norway, taking a winter walk with her in the snow and sunshine. And afterward, we’d pop into Andrea’s cozy little living room, where she’d have fruit cake with whipped cream and hot coffee or tea waiting for us :-) And then maybe we’d spend some time crocheting together and chatting. That would be lovely right now. Dear Andrea, enjoy your winter afternoon!

Thanks, Ina—I kind of took you all along on my winter walk, so to speak. That way, you could experience a little bit of that winter feeling.
We had coffee afterward, but instead of fruit cake, we had those delicious pretzels.

Yes, exactly as Ina wrote—that would be nice. We’ll all come over to your place, Andrea, and enjoy the beautiful nature together, and then over coffee and cake we can get our needles clicking. You really do make us want to go to Norway.

Thanks, Andrea, for the beautiful photo and the other pictures in that other thread—I would have loved to have been there. Here around Leipzig, the weather was rather gloomy yesterday, and the beautiful winter landscape was missing a little sunshine—oh well, you can’t have everything.
Let me know when you’re getting together for a cozy get-together over coffee and cake—preferably after 3:00 p.m., since I’m allowed to eat until 6:00 p.m.....
