Hello everyone,
I just finished making my Advent wreath and thought it would be nice if we could share our creative ideas for them. So if anyone feels like showing off theirs and writing a few words about it, we’d all love to see it. It might even give those who are still undecided a few ideas.
I’ll go first with mine: I was kind of in the mood for something all-natural, understated, and serene—or maybe lots of bling. So I cut two types of evergreen branches from the garden and arranged them in my Velou floral arrangement system. You pour water into the bottom, so it stays fresh until Christmas. I also added a few faded hydrangea blooms, small pinecones, and just a touch of decoration. Then I sprayed everything with a fine gold glitter spray, though it’s only subtly visible.
Since I didn’t buy any candles, I opted for 6-hour tea lights in small glasses this time. I wrapped shrink wrap (Lablanche) around the glasses and shrunk it. When the lights are on, you can see the pattern really nicely. I’ll post a picture of the lit-up glass after the first Sunday of Advent :-)
Now I’m excited to see your Advent wreaths!
Warm regards and have a wonderful Sunday, Ina
