Are the images uploaded to the regular gallery, or is there a separate gallery just for the Spring 2016 promotion?

the images are uploaded to the regular gallery. Open the product page for the relevant pattern and click “Upload” at the top.

Hello,
I have a few questions about the contest.
- Until when can people vote for the uploaded photos?
- Can only registered users vote?
- How can I tell in the gallery which photos are the most popular in the contest?
- When will the results be announced?
I hope that’s not too many questions.

Hi, I have a question too.
Are only the images in the gallery that are part of the Spring promotion counted?
With so many images in the gallery, it’s hard to tell which ones are part of the promotion and which ones aren’t :(

1.) The promotion runs through February 29.
  2.) Reviews will be counted up to and including that date. Only registered users can submit reviews.
3.) I’ll reply a bit later.
4.) The results will be announced in early March.

@Anne:

Only images (reviews on those images) that are part of the promotion will be considered for the campaign.

But Alexander! It explicitly says that the purchased patterns should be used to make the items.

I also wrote it that way to Sonja, aka Vielstrickerin, after it was discussed in the authors' forum! So we shouldn't be circumventing any rules here.

The egg cozy turned out very nice, but it doesn't have much in common with my original pattern. Different flowers, leaves, and borders were crocheted.

Hello dear team,

I also have a question I'd like to ask here:

Right at the start of the promotion, the Spring promotion included a crocheted bookmark in the shape of a heart with an arrow. I had also purchased the pattern, made it, and uploaded a photo.

But now this exact design is no longer included in the promotion at all.

How can this be explained?

Hello dear CP team,

I happened to notice that only photos uploaded via the product page end up in the Spring 2016 gallery. For example, Kerstin Schumann’s fairy house. It’s in the regular gallery, but it’s not included in the spring campaign. And I’m sure there are other participants who aren’t aware of this.
Maybe you could remind people again to upload via the product page? Otherwise, I can imagine some might be disappointed if their photos aren’t considered.
And perhaps don’t hide the link for the photos for the spring campaign so much in the forum — not everyone looks there.

it clearly says that it must be uploaded to the product page.

it was also answered by MonisWolle, and yes—the photo can be seen in the gallery but not in the Spring promotion, as I mentioned above.

as Monika mentioned, you should upload the photos to the product page. However, you don’t need to upload the photo a second time right now. In 1–2 days, we’ll make it possible to assign uploaded photos. In other words, it will be possible to assign a photo to a product.

Hi Alexander (or whoever feels responsible),

so once again: I had uploaded the photo via the product page right at the start of the Spring Campaign.

However, as I already wrote above, after that (a few days later, I suppose), this pattern was no longer included at all in the Spring Campaign among any of the featured models — it was completely gone, as if it had never been among the suggested models.

So of course it can’t be among the Spring Campaign photos either, but only in the gallery.

That was exactly my question above when I wrote, “How can this be explained?”, and I’m still curious to hear what the explanation is.

Hello!!!

This is very urgent, as the contest ends today.

On February 12, 2016, I purchased the pattern “Paulechen the Ladybug Wakes Up” by Bettys Simm-Salabim. I just finished the project today and wanted to upload it to the contest gallery. Unfortunately, I discovered that the pattern has been removed.

My questions:
Should I upload it to the regular gallery now?
How will it then get into the contest gallery?
Will I lose any “likes” as a result?

I’d appreciate a quick response, as there are only a few hours left to vote.
