Wrist warmers / gloves / mittens: which do you prefer?

Which do you prefer? Wrist warmers, gloves, or mittens?

I crocheted my first pair of gloves last year. And sure enough, I ended up with two right-hand gloves. Oh well, I’ll wear them anyway. 

I prefer mittens. I don’t have any experience with wrist warmers yet, but I’m currently working on crocheting some. However, I’m making them without a thumb, just with an opening, and I’m wondering whether that might be too cold for me. 

I’ve already given away some knitted wrist warmers, but those were meant for indoor use. My friend always has such cold hands. 

...I enjoy knitting both—mittens as well as wrist warmers (with thumbs). The latter are great for riding a scooter. 


Last year I must have knitted 5–7 pairs of gloves, and it wasn’t until this year that I “knitted” some for myself—all the other pairs somehow ended up somewhere else 😂🙈😂 “Those are so pretty,” and just like that, they were “talked into” someone else’s hands. But I know that “they” appreciate them too...
