Max and Gretl....

... are a big hit in my family every year—everyone wants another pair. The two are embroidered ITH (in the hoop), then cut out closely and sewn shut by hand after being stuffed.

Oh wow, your Gretl and Max look great. Did you design them yourself? I’ve never heard of this technique before—it definitely sounds interesting. You embroidered them with a sewing machine, right?

No, they’re made entirely on the embroidery machine. Just Google “ITH”—you’ll find plenty of info about it.

If you keep showing us such amazing work, I’m not sure how long it’ll be before I want a machine like that, too.

I googled it—there are some amazing things out there. But you need a special embroidery machine for that, right? I only have a regular hobby sewing machine.
