what are you excited about right now?
Tell me all about it.

I’ve caught digitizing fever again; I’m busy designing all sorts of things for Christmas and making them usable for the embroidery machine. Not to mention that sewing has had me hooked for a good 40 years now.
What I also always really enjoy is designing a new bag from scratch, and it’s the same with jackets or tops. Since I’m quite crooked/asymmetrical, I have to adjust every pattern, even a store-bought one, to fit me anyway, so I usually make myself 1–2 basic patterns that can then be used for all kinds of pieces.
I’m also really passionate about photography, very often macro photography; you learn a lot from it, namely to see what’s essential and what really matters.

Right now, I’m fascinated by the hedgehog in our garden, which we get to watch eating every day. Now we’re going to build him a cozy bed of straw and leaves so he can go into hibernation safely in November.

I’m also fascinated by the colorful leaves on and under the trees. I love this time of year.

The beautiful, warm fall weather 🌞😎

What delighted me today, at least, was a great spotted woodpecker in the Palmengarten, as well as the ducks:

The colors of fall. I took my pruning shears with me on a walk yesterday and cut myself a beautiful bouquet.

These colors are simply wonderful. 

Petra, I also think the colors outdoors are just gorgeous right now.

I love colorful autumn trees. In general, shades from red to yellow are totally my colors anyway. I also love the autumn landscape in general. I like walking along paths covered in colorful autumn leaves 😊
