Cell phone pouch to wear around your neck

I used up some fabric scraps again and sewed myself a little cell phone pouch to wear around my neck. Behind the teddy bear picture on the front is a small pocket where I’ve hidden my Athman emergency spray. The little teddy bear was a gift from my husband when I had to go through my first spinal surgery; ever since then, my guardian angel teddy has accompanied me everywhere I go. I also added a little chip pouch, so I always have one on hand and don’t have to search for it. I used a long shoelace as the strap—it works perfectly :-)

A practical and beautiful, colorful little pouch for all your (life-)essential items—and one with so much sentimental value, too. May the guardian angel teddy bear continue to watch over you.

Thanks, Ina—I sewed another one. It’s going to one of my female family members—depends on who calls first :-) This little pouch is also sewn entirely from scraps, but the pile in my box isn’t getting any smaller ;-)

Oh Akela, I know what you mean. For me, it’s the yarn that never seems to run out.

Your little bags turned out pretty. My daughter has one too (though she bought hers)—I’ll have to check it out to see if something like that would be practical for me as well.
