There are also beetles that we don’t find gross: ladybugs! They’re even considered good-luck charms!

This cute ladybug egg cozy is sure to bring you luck if you use it often to keep your breakfast egg warm. It’s not hard to crochet, and you probably won’t need to buy any extra yarn—a few scraps will be enough to make it.

In this Halloween decoration, terrifying spiders are arranged into window garlands, where—surrounded by lots of flowers—they actually look quite aesthetically pleasing.


 
All the garland elements are cut out of photo cardstock and strung on nylon thread. The garlands shown are each about 85 cm long, but they can be adjusted to suit your taste or needs. The garlands are also very well suited for craft beginners.
