Basket with a new lining

My “sandwich daughter” gave me this basket yesterday along with a mountain of fruit, since she knows I can hardly resist any fruit [sunshine]
But I already have a nice woven basket for my fruit, so I sewed a lining for this new one—that way I can also use it in my sewing room for odds and ends, etc.

Dear Akela,
with its fresh new lining, this basket would look great anywhere. But it’s nice to have it in your sewing room. That way, you’ll get to enjoy it often—and it’s practical, too.
